No longer a coffee house 3/17/2006

The Irish Pub has dropped the Coffee from its name and is strictly about the pub now. Located on the Tennessee Strip (underneath the Floyds-Yannis block) the Pub is quickly becoming a favorite to the college crowd. They have good drink specials (penny drafts, ladies night, free beer nights, etc). These nights usually have a cover. Once inside there isn't much to do but drink, socialize, and maybe shoot a game of pool or play darts. The darts and pool are often difficult to get in on because there are only three electronic dart boards and four pool tables. So get there early if you want to play. Otherwise the pub is a great place to meet your friends and hang out. They have a back room with couches, which gives it the party atmosphere. If you'd prefer to stay closer to the bars, they have plenty of seating and standing room too, and a clear open space for the occasional dance off. more
