Although this place is not the same since CHef Austin left (and later sadly died in the Katrina aftermath), it still rocks. If you like Creole food, but are slightly tired of the usual dishes, come to Jacques-Imo's for some serious twists on Creole cooking. One of my all-time favorites is Alligator Cheesecake (yes, it sounds strange, but it is unbelievably good!). As a matter of fact, I've never had a disapointing dish there. Prepare for a wait, since there is always one - but so worth it!
