I love the fact that the Safeway in Berkeley is opened 24 hours. I don't know if they're all like that, but ours is. This place is great in the day time, a convenient place for students to get food. However if you go at night. The place is kinda scary. The lights are dimed to save energy...and there are a lot of people that shoplift around this hour...I myself have witnessed 2 shopliftings...and the security guards don't do such a good job at monitoring the store.
The food is not always that fresh. A lot of the veggies already have a great deal of brown on them...
