Common Franchise, Uncommon Hospitality 4/19/2006

This was my first visit to this establishment. I was greeted at the door with a friendly smile and a "How Many?" right away. The waitress came immediately and the table across from ours was dirty and the host noticed it as he seated us, apologized for the "view" and cleaned it right away. The food came piping hot and if we wanted to change something on the menu and couldn't because it was a special, the waitress asked if she could suggest something else. I noticed quite a few senior-types in the establishment. I asked the couple behind us how often they come there and why. The woman replied that her husband likes his meals piping hot and quick and she said the food is always cooked to order and even when it is not senior day, they get the senior discount at the register when the manager is in. And, the manger is there most days and times. Good old' fashioned hospitality. more
