Oznots serves a range of Mediterranean food -- covering all of the Mediterranean -- Greek, Italian and North African influences all abound on the menu. I personally love the Moroccan steak, spiced with hot peppers and cinnamon. Other well-regarded dishes their include roasted root vegetables and a great appetizer plate that includes grape leaves and a whole roasted garlic bulb. Ecclectic decor adds to the fun. The place is fairly casual, but after several good write-ups in the New York Times now takes reservations on the weekends. They also do a great brunch and have a garden in back. It's worth the trip to Brooklyn.
