Not from Oklahoma, I have been repeatedly been surprised by how great it is! I am a sap, of course, and I am from the East Coast and a sucker for OK and OKC and cowboys and oil derricks (is that the right word?) in the middle of the street and its most super inhabitant, tofu cube. And the point--
Red Cup is great, been there a couple times, it reminds me of Austin, TX for some reason, but it is totally OKC. The food is great--the #4 sandwich, is insanely delicious, but small. The people that work there are super granolaheads and the crowd is very diverse, which says a lot. The coffee.......is not that good for one reason: it is kept in pumping thermoses (does that make sense?), so it is always just a bit cooler than a good cup of coffee should be---that is, it is warmish not hottish/burning-tonguish.
I imagine they'll figure it out at some point, especially considering everything else, which is great. Looks great, too--great atmosphere. Hooray!
