Art & Soul has a unique new kind of shop - a combination of art classes, pottery making, coffee and entertainment. The decor is rich and tasteful, with a fireplace and luxurious chairs and lighting in the front room. But the atmosphere in the back is fun, with long tables on which parents and kids - or anyone else who wants - can poke, prod, pound, and play with clay in molds and on the tables. Although I have not actually inquired, I assume there is also some kind of kiln on the premises as well.
Live entertainment is offered on weekends, everything from harp to jazz to rock bands.
