Artattack was in town for about four years, and had even built out a nice little theater by the Co-Op. However, they just couldn't make a go of it.
The thing that burned a few folks in town is that Artattack held a big fund-rasing weekend, auctioned off a lot of things, did speeches asking for money and then three days later announced that they were taking the donations and moving to Seattle.
The nerve!
I'm giving them two stars because I liked some of their plays. Glass Menagerie was superb, and we liked some of their regular actors quite a lot. Fortunately, those folks are now involved in other theater groups around town.
