I love a restaurant that stays true to it's roots even though it is far from it's origins. This restaurant is definitely indicative of that. If you are looking to make a good impression, meet the parents or propse, this is THE place to do it. You simply can't go wrong here. this is not a French place inspired or infused by anything or one else. It's simply a high class Frech restaurant.
In France, they have a salad after the main coirse and cheese (Plateau De Fromages) before or after dessert . Same here. I could eat only that and be happy. that's how good it is. The wine list has some fabulous items, very impressive.
