Ashford House is an authentic Irish restaurant in Tinley Park. It is always packed around St. Patrick's Day so I suggest trying it another time of year. They have excellent Shepherd's pie and I have had sandwiches there at lunch time. The prices are reasonable and in line with other restaurants in the area. They also offer a small room for parties, showers, etc. The restaurant is family run and is next door to an Irish market. This is such a great restaurant, I wish I could go there more often.
