A wonderful find! While planning a weekend trip to Sedona I came across this small, family-owned motel located in Cottonwood. Room rates are either $60 or $65 a night, depending on your amenities. Rooms either feature 2 queen beds or a queen bed and full kitchen. All pots, pans, dishes, utensils, glasses, etc. are available for check out from the front desk. The rooms are extremely large for the low price you pay to stay. The beds are comfortable and the grounds are clean. If you don’t need to stay in the lap of luxury, this is a great overnight or weekend hotel. I can’t wait to plan another trip up north, this will definitely be our hotel of choice from now on. Cottonwood is only 5 miles from the old mining town of Jerome and about a 20 minute drive from Sedona. The travel between towns is scenic, especially as you begin to enter Sedona and the scenery is dominated by the red rocks.
