Evergreen Lake and the Evergreen Boathouse are high on my list of places to recommend. The site is a charming one to have your wedding--the staff at the boathouse will set up chairs on their back lawn and patio for you to perform your wedding by the after. If you're lucky, the ducks will glide by as you state your vows (of course, so could a kayaker, but you take what you get!) Their patio is a great place for your guests to have cocktails and mingle. The inside reception room is large and can accommodate a good-sized reception.
The lake itself is a quick walk-about. Enough to stretch your legs without working up too much of a sweat! You can also rent a canoe or a paddle boat.
