It's hard to compare the McCarran International Airport to any others I've ever used. From the moment you step off the plane, you can hear and see rows of slot machines. The baggage claim area is almost like an arena with huge flat-panel screens promoting shows and blaring clips of advertisements. There are several food venues here, including one pretty decent Mexican restaurant. The airport moves really really quickly when you consider how many people are being funneled through. There is also an elevated tram that conveys travelers from the air-side terminal to baggage claim.
