I was excited when a new non-chain restaurant was opening in Gilbert and have not been disappointed in the many visits over the past 2 years. They have some unique Mexican dishes as well as the usual dishes. The food is always great, service is excellent and the atmosphere pleasant.
I like that they use all white meat in their chicken dishes, including tacos. Some favorites include: Mesquite Tacos, Red Chile, Fajita and Taco Burros.
There is a large bar area in the middle where they offer happy hour specials and in addition to ample seating inside there is also a covered patio (with built-in heaters or misters depending on weather).
