The Metropolitan Club is a unique experience when it comes to Boston-area steakhouses. The modern menu is based on new-American cuisine and also features several non-beef entrees. High-end ingredients like truffle oil help to kick up otherwise ordinary french fries. The desserts are a standout here and are made to order. They also serve an excellent upscale brunch on weekends.
The atmosphere of this restaurant is very inviting, yet has a modern/urban feel to it. The service is excellent though the prices tend to be on the high side.
