The Red Lion Inn in Cohasset is worth the short trip outside of Boston for it's romantic setting and excellent food. The clam chowder and mussles appetizers here are to die for. The French-country aptmosphere is both warm and charming.
Prices are a little lofty for this suburban dining destination, but the service is impeccable so it is well worth it in any case. This is the perfect restaurant for Valentine's Day or an anniversary with it's cozy tables and discreet atmosphere.
