I flew into Wichita for an engagement at the university and I expected to find a small and bland airport. It is small, but it is not bland. It is quaint and better than many similar sized airports. It is easy to park/drop off. The employees there were all very friendly, again, good Midwestern folks. It's no vacation, but it's acceptible.
