Italian women love to be waited on, catered to and basically, treated like prima donna's. The Olive Garden
is such a classy place that you feel special just walking
through their doors. This is when the luscious aroma
of spaghetti sauce starts to tempt your appetite. Thats
about when we are shown to our table. We being my
cousin Priscilla and I. I truly enjoy my cousin's company but sometimes she goes out of her way to
get attention and that more than embarrasses me but
since she offered to pay the bill I try hard not to let it
get to me. Today a very nice looking young man is
our waiter. He comes to our table with a bottle of wine
when my cousin boldly ask him if the wine is for free.
I promise myself that I will not melt as I feel my blood
pressure rise in my face. This fine gentleman offers
her a sample by giving her about a 1/3 of a glass. He
kept his cool and handled the situation with dignity.
At this lunchtime I could name about 5 other times when the waiter was put in an awkward position with
my cousin's insistance of more bread, pop refills and
so on. Without going into great detail I must admit
the waiter had a sincere desire to please the customer
and he also had a lot of patience, This all equals excellent customer service. The food at the Olive Garden is very delicious and they have a lot of entrees
to choose from. I ordered the Chicken Marsala which
was awesome.
This particular Oliver Garden Restaurant is in the
Lakeside Shopping Center outside courts.
