In 1984 I completed the classes they offered for Non-Fiction writing via snail
mail. I was under the instruction of Mary L. Heaton (author) who gave me my
lessons and critiqued my work. I surprizingly got an "A" in this class. It gave
me the desire to persue my love of writing. Writers Digest is now available
online for everyones convenience. They have tons of writing contests and
books to give you direction in writing. For those of you who asked me where
