The Black Dog is a fantastic tavern located in Vineyard Haven on Martha's Vineyard. My friend and I splurged on a dinner here while visiting the island, and we were not disappointed. Prices are high here, but if you love seafood, this is the place to get it. I ordered the salmon, and my friend ordered an absolutely perfect lobster. The atmosphere is pretty casual but still upscale. You'll find mostly tourists here, but good food is good food. I'd give it 5 stars, but I found that prices were too high to really consider it a good value.
