Hagley Museum and Library, is according to their advertising, "where the Dupont story began." Hagley is both a living history museum for the Dupont gunpowder mills and also an exploration into both advertising and business history. The Hagley Library is one of the world's best business history libraries, housing the files of Avon, Seagrams, and of course, Dupont. The estate is absolutely beautiful in the spring and fall; I guarantee your family will spend an exhausting entire day walking around the grounds and learning about life along the Brandywine River.
