The Red Onion Saloon is one of the biggest tourist traps in all of Skagway, AK. However, it gets that reputation because it's quite a fun restaurant. The overall atmosphere is from its namesake-- the fact that it used to be home to an infamous bordello with plenty of red lights in the upstairs windows. There's a restaurant downstairs and a museum upstairs-- and plenty of interesting information to amuse the afternoon cruise patron. Be sure to check out the display of dolls downstairs; if a doll is lying down, you know what that means!
