This hospital has been here in Alexandria for many years. The Catholic Church constructed this facility and offered some great care for the ill in Alexnadria and surrounding areas. It was first run by nuns and they actually nursed the ill that were hospitalized here. As the hospital grew and the number of nuns dwindled they hired more and more lay people to their staff.
Every time I have been hospitalized at this facility I have been very well treated and nursed back to health by very caring and compassionate individuals. The nurses and all of the staff here do their very best to make your hospital stay comfortable, not only for the patient but also for the patients's family.
They have a lovely, modern cafeteria where you can enjoy some very good food. They have a Chapel were you can spend time in quiet prayer for your freind/relative who is ill or having surgery. They have a Chaplain on duty at all times to help you deal with your own crisis.
All in all, Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital is an excellent facility to be in to be nursed back to health.
