Places like the Gaslighter theater simply don't exist anymore. This is an old time vaudeville show that is appropriate and enjoyable for all ages. This is the kind of show your great-grandparents enjoyed- singings, dancing and plays that are well-acted and full of fun.
The theater itself is located in the Old Town section of downtown Campbell and is an old theater with a small auditorium and stage- wonderful relics of a bygone era.
Everyone gets free popcorn! But it's not just to eat, it is for throwing!!!! At the Gaslighter Theater, when you boo and hiss at the villains of the play, you can throw popcorn at them too!! It's a terrible mess and terrific fun!!! Not many places let you do that!!
Be sure to have a bit of cash on you. On the way out, the actors will be in line to sing to you as you exit the lobby and that is the time to tip them.
These actors work VERY hard are VERY talented and are VOLUNTEERS!! They do the shows for the love of it. So please be ready with a tip for them on your way out.
It will be a fun night you will never forget!!
