In fact, this really is a small town kind of grocery store. There have been so many times I've tried to just stop in to pick up a few things and its been closed! (it's not a 24-7 kind of shop).
The butcher is fabulous. He will cut meat anyway you like it, and the meat is always top quality (you pay for it too!).
You do have to be careful about expiration dates on some products, and the produce isn't always very good, but they have the basics, plus some, and provide a great service to all the elderly that can just walk there.
