This place got a good write up in the Tribune, and I have friends that go there constantly. The food was very good, don't get me wrong.
However, I thought it was a bit over priced for what you got. My husband and I left with a sense that its a good place to stop in for an appetizer, not a good place to go for dinner. I might feel differently if we were rich, but I doubt it. My brother (who is rich) went frequently when it first opened but has since stopped -- even he thinks its a bit too pricey. The booze is very, very expensive, 10 for a glass of wine!
The owner is very nice, however, and the service is outstanding. They have an amazing fish and seafood selection, and the menu is very eclectic with novel offerings. It is very small and intimate.
