I'm a hiker. I love the great Northwest and take full advantage of the miles and miles of trails and greenspaces in the Portland Metro area. However, as a middle-aged, over-weight, under-exercised woman, my feet don't always love hiking as much as I do....so I wear shoes that protect and keep them feeling happy.
Danner Boots are by far my favorites...however, their price tag can be pretty spendy. This fall I discovered the hiker's greatest secret....DANNER HAS AN OUTLET STORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Located near the airport, this is as worthwhile as Pendleton Woolen Mills is for the Lake O housewife! The selection is great, the discounts are deep, and even though they are "seconds" they are far ahead, in my opinion, of other brand's "firsts".
