Action Jackson's has a number of locations in Portland, but I'm focused on the one located at SE 122nd and Powell. The reason? Breakfast..especially on the weekends!
Most lottery-focused bars in town have some kind of food..but here they have FOOD and lots of it!
I love their french toast with sausage. It's always hot and fast and the coffee is refilled every other sip.
I also usually leave one of my biggest tips here on the weekends. The weekend waiter is a crazy dude whose as likely to paint his toenails as wear a tuxedo and seems to jostle a smile out of even those with the worst hangovers. It's like an early morning standup routine...oh, and watch out for him when he get ahold of the ketchup....if he's in a really good mood, he might point it at you!
