Recently lots of pawn shops got stung by the Portland Police. This is one of three that I'll review that did not get stung.
I have purchased numerous items from A-1 over the past years...ranging from yard equipment to musical instruments. What I like best about shopping here is their no-pressure approach. The sales staff are honest if they don't think an item will hold up for what I intend to use it for and they are patient with my propensity to come back time and time again to look at the same item.
Price wise, they're a bit cheaper for tools and yard things than some of the others but are a bit pricier on electronics and jewelry.
