This place is beautiful. It is an older building that used to be a church. Now it is home to Hillsboro's very own Cultural Arts Center.
I have taken a class here and I just love it. The teacher was warm and friendly and really knew what she was talking about. It was a bit expensive, as far as local classes go, but I would pay it again.
The center offers classes on many different 'artsy' things like writing, painting, sculpting etc. They also host concerts and plays (presented by HART theatre). They are even adding open poetry reading nights.
I'm really impressed with the work they have done. Hillsboro is becoming a center for the arts in it's own right.
