Good: I appreciated the short hold time, upfront pricing over the phone, the monthly price ($16.95), the fact you don't have to sign a contract, and you don't have to have a phone line to monitor the system. I didn't feel like I was getting a high pressure pitch put on me which is refreshing these days.. Bad: I thought that the tech could have given me more of a heads up when he was on his way. He called when he was right around the corner and that didn't give me much time to get back home. It was ok because he waited for me though so it wasn't a big deal.. Improvements: See above answer.. Other: So far I'm really liking Smith Thompson. Their price really is $16.95, no tricks or catches. I tested my alarm the other day and they called me right away on my cell phone. Every seems to be working great and I'm happy I got to cancel my land line phone. Every extra dollar saved really counts these days..
