TERRIBLE customer treatment 7/5/2011

I am typing this with my jaw on the ground. I call and set an appointment to have my elderly aunts refridgerator looked at. On the morning of the appointment I called to give them the make and model to make the job alittle easier as I didnt have that information when I initially set the appointment. The man that answered demanded information to find my appointment, was rude and interrupted my every word and placed me on hold several times. He became increasingly angry when the name and address wasn't helping him find the information needed. I was TRYING to help him by offering information to help him but his refused to hear me. When I asked him to stop interrupting me he told me they were real busy and didnt have time to listen to me and to just give me the "damn phone number" to find the appointment. I told him that it isn't my fault he can't find the appointment with the name and address and he could not talk to me like that. He said I was acting like a real B_____ and demanded I just shut up and give him the phone number or go somewhere else that they would not take our service call. I told him I was canceling the appointment and calling ABA. He then replied with, "go ahead As _ h_ _ _ _." I already feel better with ABA. They waive the service fee if a repair needs to be done. Depew charged $75 just to look at the appliance. As I was setting my appointment with ABA I received a call to my home from a resonable Depew employee but by this time I was only interested in telling him how pooly the other 'gentlemen' has spoken to me and informed him that I would be in contact with the owner. He was kind but equally unapologetic. more
