There is one frustration, but if you are aware of it up front it won't be. The gardens are magnificent and they have roses for sale on site but you will not always find the ones you jotted down while strolling. The good part is that you can go home and find them in the catalog and order them. It will require shipping but if you really want that rose it might be necessary. I had to get over that. These roses really out perform any I have bought anywhere. Once you realize this you do not mind paying a little more. It is nice to see and smell them before ordering and such a peaceful experience to spend a couple hours going through a couple of acres of roses. June and July are best. The catalog costs $5 at first but if you purchase something each year it will be sent to you for free. These catalogs contain a ton of good info.
