Staten Island Historical Society is like the 1600's comes alive in a not so creepy way. The guides dress up in period pieces and walk around the historical village telling stories and talking about the history of Staten Island. The whole place is a museum/village. They have shops and public buildings. It's very interesting and it's not very expensive.
