While this park receives most of its visitors during the traditional flowering season of the Rhododendron, it is beautiful any time of year. If you go in the off-season it is free and you can enjoy the springs and the abundant amount of waterfowl that live there year round. Rhododendrons are evergreen so enjoy the gorgeous shrubbery during the colder winter months. But of course, also go during the bloom season. Right around Mothers Day and the end of the school year seem to be the perfect times to benefit from the colorful show.
