Just bought our engagement ring from Mariloff's and we couldn't be happier! We went to several stores before this, and most of them (with the exception of one) had terrible customer service and even worse looking diamonds in some cases. Thanks, but I have no interest in paying you $4k for a yellowy .70 carat diamond.
Enter Mariloff. Mark was very quick to respond to our appointment request and offered to meet us on a Sunday around dinnertime since that worked best with our schedule. Before our appointment, he asked me what I was looking for and what our price range was. When we arrived, he was prepared with rings in our price range that matched what I had previously described to him over e-mail. Mark and his assistant were very friendly, accommodating, and they did seem very interested in our satisfaction throughout the process. Mark assured me that their #1 rule is that "we don't want you to like it, we want you to LOVE it," and it seems like they are committed to doing whatever it takes to making sure you love your purchase when you walk out the door. We went back to the store tonight to look at the diamonds and setting that he had ordered in for us and they are BEAUTIFUL. The are very clear and incredibly shiny, something that the diamonds at the other stores were not. The quality was very evident. I looked on the website of a major chain store and they priced the same graded 1 carat diamond at $6,000...and we paid just slightly over half that price at Mariloff's. I was amazed.
So far, so good. If anything changes, I will certainly update my review. Just can't say enough about how positive an experience this has been thusfar. I would highly recommend.
