I went to Dr. Raoufinia because my own dentist is on vacation and had all her patients referred to him for the next month that she is away. My dental experience with Dr Raoufinia was terrible..I went in for a root canal, and I had previously had three other root canals, and it was the most painful experience ever. The root canals I had performed by two other dentists over the years were MUCH LESS painful and much less recovery time. I was sore and couldnt eat for three days afterward and as a result of his work I developed an infection which required me going to another dentist to have drained and have me put on anti-biotics. When I called to ask him what I should do when I my entire mouth was swollen and I couldnt eat- he blew me off and rudely told me that his work is 'always great' and must be my fault. Needless to say, I went to another dentist - in his same building, and he did a great job of ending the infection and even he agreed that Dr. Raoufinia botched my root-canal. There are plenty of excellent dentists in the Arlington area- why go to a dentist like him???
