All the reviews I have read had nothing more to say than it takes too long to get in to be seen. What I have to say to that is, what do you think is going to happen when it's the most affordable alternative in your area??!! I went to one dentist in Carrollton and my work was going to cost over 10,000 out of pocket, not including 3,000 in insurance payment. Sweet mary I couldn't dream of it without ruining my immediate financial future. Monarch charged me a total out of pocket of about 6,000. Praise the Lord...I can swallow that. So now I see why they are so busy, and why it "takes so long (boo hoo to you whining people)" to get an appointment. I am a single male with no kids and minimal bills and I know I don't have the financial strain that many single parent families or even other two parent, 2+ kids homes have, so a less expensive alternative is essential to you and yours' dental health. That said I personally feel they do great quality professional work as well. I mean come on people, Monarch has real live dentists too, they are not just actors. You roll the dice when you walk into any institution; some doctors are better than others, and mine is kind, helpful, and does a great job. The way I see it is if you have one business seeing 100 patients a month and another seeing 1000+ (just hypothetical to make my point) then of course you are going to have a greater chance and number of not so pleasant visits and complaints from the higher volume business. That's not to say the lower volume business does not have complaints, they are just under the radar. Example: Bob's corner store makes a mistake who hears about it...nobody but the victim and their momma; Wal-Mart makes a mistake the world hears about it on late night breaking news...but you tend to forget all the millions of happy Wal-Mart customers while you're listening to the complaint. I'm sorry this is so long but I just wanted to write something that sounded a bit more insightful and intelligent than the next guy so maybe this could truly help you, the single mother, you the college student, you the single father, etc. to make an educated decision on what you are willing to spend in comparison to what you are going to get in the long run. Which in my opinion is the same thing you would get from the high dollar dentists more
