Good: Wonderful, vintage hotel with friendly staff, comfy rooms and great views out every window. Fresh, cool mountain air, even in the summer.. Bad: A little off the beaten path. (Though that can be a plus.) Can be hard to find, since another hotel makes the turn-off look like they own the road.. Improvements: Clearer signs at the turn-off. More parking, or signs pointing to overflow parking.. Other: It's not a chain hotel with a pool, and there probably won't be a TV or mini-bar in your room. Expect a small, family-friendly hotel. Ideal for skiers, hikers, and family reunions..
