Haven't had any dealings with the hospital, but the ER left so much to be desired, and everyone we've talked to echoes that sentiment. We had a very nice check-in, once we got in, but that's about the extent of it. It took two hours to get our 2-year old in to see a doctor, only to be told (in aboout a minute's time) it was nothing to worry about, for which our insurance was billed over $600. Thank goodness we had insurance. No procedures were done, and the only Rx written was for something we could buy over the counter at Wal-Mart. If there was anything positive about the experience, it was the nurse at check-in. I highly recommend spending the few extra minutes drive to Corpus, if you can!
