My best friend decided she wanted to have a natural home birth. She decided she did not want a doctor so she used a midwife. I was a little skeptical because I did not know if midwives have as much training as regular obgyns. Well after the birth of her baby daughter I changed my mind. Her doctor was wonderful and nourishing making the whole process much easier. I really felt my friend had a special relationship with the doctor like she was a friend. Maybe I will use a mid wife someday.
