Northfork Bank has recently proliferated in my area. I think they bought out a few other banks out and are in the process of expanding. They are very customer friendly and I have had no problems at the bank. They have locations all over the city and the other boroughs and ATM's are also all over the place. They have many account options to choose from and don't try to trick you with fees and other service charges.
