The Fashion District also includes the Fabric and Jewelry Districts name brands everything. I like coming down here when I'm looking for a particular kind of fabric. There are literally hundreds of stores here, and thousands of fabrics to choose from. Prices are cheap, and the store owners are usually pretty happy to strike a good deal with you. A friend and I went to the Fashion District recently to look for some costume and props pieces. It took us about 2-3 hours to find what we wanted because we were bargaining for the lowest price at each store. So don't be in a hurry to buy whatever you want at the first store you come across, take some time and pop into a few more to compare prices. You might be surprised at how low of a price you can get.
