Ok, we all know that WalMart usually knocks the socks off of everyone else, better prices, blah, blah, blah. It's time now to discuss some customer service. The Asbury Road/West 23rd Street Walmart has become known for 2 things; being more expensive than any other of the WalMarts in Erie and having the absolute rudest clerks and cashiers around. It is rare that I've gone in that store and had a good experience. Why I continue to go there is beyond me, other than the simple fact that it's easier than driving all the way across town or dealing with Peach Street traffic. The cashiers act as though they're doing you a favor, so much at times that I've actually gone over to the service desk to complain. Not that this seems to do much good because I've yet to even remotely even experience any remorse from anyone in the stores for the conduct, including the managers. This store is definitely not worth it's weight in crap! Rude service, slow service, higher prices than any other store in their chain in the Erie area and basically only has the fact that they are a lot more easily accessible than the others for most west side customers. It's time they woke up and saw what's really going on in their store. Either change their workers' attitudes or don't expect people to come there and spend their money. more
