If you're looking for fine dining and stuffy atmosphere... take a turn at the ski resort and eat there because you will find anything but stuffy and expensive at French Creek Tavern.
A down home, country Tavern with good ol' bar food at amazingly low prices is what you will find. My personal favorite is the Tavern Burger... a mouth watering sirloin burger on a big bun with cheese and sauteed onions. Order it with a side of their homemade fries and you won't ever eat a burger with "The King" again!
They offer a salad bar during peak hours and a variety of bar foods like the fried veggies and chicken fingers. Don't worry about prices either. You will walk out full for under $10 per person! Take some time to sit back and enjoy the down home atmosphere of the corner bar while you are there... play some Burger Time in the game room and enjoy a cold one! Great service, awesome food and great prices!
My one and only 'complaint' is that you pay for each drink, even if it's soda. Iced tea and coffee are the only bottomless drinks available but I think I can suffer with that!
