I have been to City tropics a few times, the bar staff is very attentive and prompt with service. I have tried the sushi, it was okay, I would prefer one of the places on the main land better. The specials are very good and service is prompt, my glass never went empty, the quantity of food was plentiful and we even had some leftover for lunch the next day.
Unless you are a young 20 something I would suggest you stay away on a Friday night, I am not in my 20's and one of the men at the door told me I was there on the wrong night when I went to meet some friends for drinks. My suggestion is to go during the week for dinner, not very crowded and very attentive.
Food is good and not too overpriced.
