I thought I had walked into a nightmare when I first showed up to meet friends for dinner. It's in an old building on St. Paul Street near downtown. I walked into a very crowded, very loud happy hour bar scene at street level. However, the restaurant is located downstairs, and is much quieter. In my estimation, the restaurant hasn't quite pulled it together, especially for the price. The entrée was delicious, but the accompanying dishes were mediocre and lukewarm. Unfortunately, it was not only my dish, but my other companions' dishes as well. After dinner coffee choices were only espresso or cappuccino, no regular coffee. To make up for the limited parking, there is valet parking which is a plus. Overall, I have a mixed reaction to the restaurant. I think for the price and quality of food, there are much better choices. It is certainly worth experiencing at least once.
