Baker Heights is one of the friendliest churches in Abilene. The members are friendly for the most part and the preachers make you laugh while bringing some of the best sermons I have heard in a long time. Being a Christian means a lot to me and my family, I have raised my children with the church. But at this time I am not a member. All my life I was a member of this church, and then I got married, and found out how hard life can be. I didn't know you had to renew your membership every few years or so, but I had moved out of town and went to church somewhere else, I said all this to say, in the past when I needed help the church was right there to help me, but recently when I call the secretary gets snotty with me and says they can't help people who aren't members, others say it's because I don't go to the church anymore. Well I don't have a car anymore and I work full time even on Sunday's and Wednesdays but I would love to go. All in all Baker Heights CHurch Of Christ is one of the friendliest churches in Abilene.
