Piney River Ranch is stunning and worth a little drive. This place is north of Vail on a dirt road. It is lovely and truly a piece of the west. You can snowmobile starting at the very bottom of the road and have MILES of exploring. The guides are very good [friendly and know the area to answer all your quesitons] too.
