After no success with physical therapy for my carpal tunnel (very painful) I was referred to Dr. Villafane for cortisone injections. I was still pregnant and Dr. Villifane was concerned. He spent at least 45 minutes with me discussing the advantages and that the cortisone might not even work. He called my ob/gyn to make sure that there would be no trouble. He discussed his background, read my chart, and asked a lot of questions. I was impressed and I felt very comfortable with him. He let me use his office to call someone to pick me up (since he did not recommend driving after injections). Dr. Villifane also has an office at the Huron Valley Hospital, which is convenient.
